Gardening Gang 4th June 2017

This was our big planting day in the back garden, building on the earlier work tidying the area and pruning back some of the overgrowth.

Here’s what we planted:

Grasses

Bedding / tender perennial – not in our strategy but we couldn’t resist it and maybe it will survive…
3 x Nemesia Wisley Vanilla

All the plants are quite small (budget constraints!). However, most of the plants came from RHS Wisley and so are good quality. We planted them in holes with compost and a good watering in and we’ll keep an eye on them so they should grow on strongly now they’re in the ground.
